EBCDIC
EBCDIC (angle Extended Binary Coded Decimal Interchange Code — pligrandigita duume kodita dekuma interŝanĝa kodo) estas signara kodo por priskribi en komputilo literojn kaj aliajn signojn. Ĝi unue estis uzata en komputiloj de firmao IBM de la jaroj 1950-aj kaj 1960-aj kaj ĝis nun estas uzata en iaj maloftaj grandaj komputiloj.
Estis minimume 6 variantoj de EBCDIC ne kongruaj unu kun la alia.
EBCDIC uzas 8 bitojn por ĉiu signo.
CCSID 500 estas pli nova varianto de EBCDIC kun aldonaj signoj.
