DsRNA Viruso

Ekzemploj de dsRNA Virusoj (ds= duopa-ĉena – el la angla “double-stranded):

  • envolvitaj fagoj (Cystoviridae),
  • la animal- plant- kaj insekt-infectivaj Reoviridae,
  • la vertebrul- kaj nevertebrul-infectivaj Birnaviridae,
  • la Totiviridae, en pra-Eŭkariotoj (fungoj kaj protozouloj, kaj eble en insektoj)
  • Partitiviridae, kiuj ĉefe infektas fungoj
  • Kriptovirusoj (familio Partitiviridae), kiuj aperas en plantoj, transireblaj nur per semo aŭ poleno.

Ĉi-virusoj havas:

  • unu-komponaĵ- (Totiviridae)
  • du-komponaĵ- (Birna-, Crypto- kaj Partitiviruses)
  • tri-komponaĵ- (Cystoviridae)
  • kaj pluri-komponaĵo (Reoviridae, 10-12 segmentoj) genomojn

Ĉiu pluri-komponaĵ-genomo estas enkapsidiga en unu sola partiklo.

Virus-genom-longoj:

  • Partitiviridae: 4-9 kb
  • Birnaviridae: about 6 kb
  • Totiviridae: 4-7 kb
  • Hypoviridae: 10-13 kb
  • Cystoviridae: 13 kb
  • Reoviridae: 20-27 kb

Ĉiuj genomoj verŝajne replikiĝas per konservema mekanismo, en kiu ds ŝargiĝenda RNA transskribiĝas helpe de virusa enzimo al mRNA, kiu kaj kodas por proteino kaj agas kiel ŝablono por sintezo de la dua ĉeno.
