Christoph Scheiner SJ (25a de julio 1573 (aŭ 1575) – 18a de junio 1650) (parolu: Kristof Ŝajner) estis germana Jezuita pastro, fizikisto kaj astronomo en Ingolstadt, Bavario.
El la aŭtuno de 1605 ĝis 1609, Scheiner studis teologion en Ingolstadt. Pro sia invento de la pantografo, li famiĝis. La Duko Vilhelmo la 5-a de Bavario invitis lin al Munkeno por montri tiun instrumenton. Scheiner finis siajn studojn la 30an de junio 1609 per sia unua verko, Theses Theologicae, kaj per la koresponda disertacio (Doktorigo en teologio). En la 1610-aj jaroj li en Ingolstadt instruis matematikon (nome fiziko kaj astronomio) kaj la hebrean. Li prelegis pri sunhorloĝoj, praktika geometrio, astronomio, optiko kaj la teleskopo. En tiu epoko li partoprenis en polemiko pri la ideoj de Galilejo.
