Bükk estas la dua plej alta kalkoŝtona montaro en Hungario oriente de Mátra. La nomo signifas hungare: fago. La centra parto estas Nacia parko de 1977.
La plej alta montopinto estas Kettős-bérc 960,7 m-ojn alta[1]. Montopintoj Istállóskő 959, Bálvány [balvanj) 956, Tar-kő 949 havas preskaŭ la saman altecon, ankoraŭ 20 da pintoj estas pli alta, ol 900 m. Centre granda altebenaĵo troviĝas. En la tuta montaro multe da grotoj situas, inter ili 45 estas protektataj.
