Botiz (hungare Batiz) estas komunumo en Rumanio nordoriente de Satu Mare. En 1910 ĝi havis 1 712 loĝantojn (hungaroj), en 1992 3 760 (rumanoj, 40 % da hungaroj). Ĝia unua mencio skriba estas el 1512. Ĝis 1919 kaj inter 1940 kaj 1944 ĝi apartenis al Hungario (Szatmár vármegye). En 1956 oni aligis al ĝi Batizvasvári (Oșvarău) kiel kvartalon.
Administre ĝis 2004 apartenis al ĝi Agriș kaj Ciuperceni, kiuj nun konsistigas la komunumon Agriș. Kun tiuj du vilaĝoj Botiz perdis grandan parton de sia hungar-etna loĝantaro.
Botiz havas fervojan ligon al Satu Mare kaj Baia Mare. La nacia vojo DN19 ligas ĝin al Satu Mare kaj al la nacia vojo DN1C.
