Biocenozo

Biocenozo en ekologio estas la aro de la specioj, interrilatitaj, kiuj vivas en komuna kaj aparta biotopo, kaj tiel konsistigas ekosistemon.

Biocenozo estas ankaŭ priskribita kiel komunumo de plantoj kaj de bestoj el difinita biotopo, konstituante biologian sistemon regita de rilatoj de interdependeco.[1] Tiu ĉi fonto aldonas : Oni apartigas fitocenozon por komunumo de plantoj, kaj zoocenozon por komunumo de bestoj. La tutaĵo de biocenozo kaj de sia biotopo estas ekosistemo ( ankaŭ nomita : biogeocenozo aŭ geobiocenozo en la germana kaj slava scienca literaturo [2]).

Biocenozo de makroekosistemo ankaŭ estas nomata biomo.[3]

La biocenologio [1] estas la scienco kiu studas la biocenozojn.
