Baeolophus estas genro de birdoj de la familio de Paruedoj, ĉiuj el kiuj estas indiĝenaj de Nordameriko. Iam plejparto de fakuloj retenis Baeolophus kiel subgenro ene de la genro Parus, sed la traktadon kiel distinga genro, iniciatita de la American Ornithologists Union oni akceptas nuntempe amplekse. Temas pri birdoj ĝenerale ne tre markitaj kolore, grizecaj kaj pli malhele supre ol sube; nur la Strivizaĝa paruo montras kolorajn markojn en vizaĝo.
