André GIDE [ãdre ĵid] (naskiĝis la 22-an de novembro 1869 en Parizo, mortis la 19-an de februaro 1951 en Parizo) estis franca verkisto kaj tradukisto. En sia verkaro la puritane edukita aŭtoro rifuzas ĉiun konvencion limigantan la personan liberecon. Li ekzemple malferme parolis pri sia gejeco kaj tuŝis per tio unu el la plej grandaj tabuoj tiutempaj. En la jaro 1947 li ricevis Nobel-Premion pri Literaturo.

Post vizito de Sovetunio en 1936, li verkis la kontraŭsovetajn verkojn Retour de l'U. R. S. S. (1936) kaj Retouches à mon retour de l'U. R. S. S (1937).
