Adaro

Adaro estas monato de la hebrea kalendaro. Ĝi ĝenerale komenciĝas meze de februaro. Dum superjaro, Adaro estas konata laŭ la nomo Adaro 2 aŭ hebree Adar bet kaj kroma, 13-a monato, Adaro 1 aŭ Adar alef estas metita antaŭ Adaro 2.

La 13-a de Adaro estas la fasto de Ester, memore al la fasto, kiun faris Ester en la Biblio. La 14-a de Adaro estas Purimo, festo memore al la eventoj rakontitaj en la biblia libro de Ester. En Jerusalemo Purimo estas festata la 15-an de Adaro (kaj tiam ĝia nomo estas Ŝuŝan-Purim).
