ARCNET

ARCNET estas la siglo de angle Attached Resource Computer NETwork (Almetata Risurca Komputilo-RETo). Tio estas loka reta protokolo, simile al Ethernet aŭ stafetringo. ARCNET estis la unua larĝe havebla reta sistemo por komputiloj, kaj vulgarigis en la 1980-jardeko por kontorvaro en oficejoj. Kvankam oficejaj retoj ne plu uzas ĝin, la protokolo estas ne malofte uzata de enkonstruitaj komputiloj pro kelkaj utilegaj trajtoj.
