The lead paragraph needs to be expanded to minimally include the number of acts, and date and place of its premiere.
We lack articles on the singers who created some of the principal roles:
- Emilio Naudin (pictured) who created the role of Vasco da Gama
- Armand Castelmary who created the role of Don Diégo,
- Marie Battu who created the role of Inès
