Wikipedia:WikiProject Hacker

This WikiProject is still in proposal phase.

Developers have been contributing to the Wikimedia Movement since the very early days, but we have not found a good sub community that brings developers to the movement and have a good place to grow and make such contributions easier, experience better and contributions more recognizable. Also, we hope to help the development more sustained, less prototype, more active usage ,more handover and reborn.

Inspired by WP:WikiProject Med we would like to start a WP:WikiProject Hacker(permanent name TBD) to bring more software developers, UX designers, data analysts or various other roles crucial to morden software product development to the Wikimedia Movement, and help these volunteers with domain expertise to make their skill-specific contributions.

If you are interested, please sign here. If there are existing active efforts, please let us know and we are happy to join them.
