Pratt Institute Libraries' third annual Wikipedia Edit-a-Thon in conjunction with Black Lives Matter Pratt's 2020 Teach-In. About this Event The theme for the BLM Pratt’s 2020 Teach-In is In/Visibility. How do Black people navigate the complex interplay between being hypervisible and simultaneously invisible?

We'll work to combat the invisibility of Black artists, fashion designers, and writers by creating, editing, and updating their Wikipedia pages. A Wikipedia Edit-a-Thon is an event where communities come together to focus on improving Wikipedia's content by making it more diverse and accurate. We will be joined in this effort by Black Lunch Table, AfroCROWD, and Wikimedia NYC.
