Article cleaned by investigator or others. No remaining infringement. The rewrite seems thorough. I've spot-checked and used duplicate detector on a few sources. Please flag if I've overlooked anything. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 20:34, 31 December 2013 (UTC)

- Irrigation of alluvial fans (history · last edit · rewrite) from From given sources, all subsections of waterlog.info.. Dana boomer (talk) 19:06, 8 December 2013 (UTC)
- I tried to find the article but the only thing it says that there is a copyright problem. Going to the previous version I found sources from www.waterlog.info, which I checked. On the "Articles" page and on the "Reports an case studies" page of this web site I read: "They are free for all kind of uses". What is the poblem? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 189.215.155.71 (talk) 18:17, 15 December 2013 (UTC)
- Are we sure that waterlog.info has the right to release these documents? They are copies of ILRI articles from various places/annual reports...does ILRI copyright their publications? This article would seem to suggest they do (see page 4). Dana boomer (talk) 16:24, 16 December 2013 (UTC)
- That publication (27) is not used in the article under discussion. Reference is only made to parts of ILRI´s annual reports and project reports, which apparently are not under copy right. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 189.215.155.71 (talk) 18:25, 17 December 2013 (UTC)
- We have two issues here. First, the release on the website is not specific enough for us to use as a license. We need to know that they are licensed for use, including commercial, and modification. We recommend the language at Wikipedia:Declaration of consent for all enquiries. Secondly, we need the website host to verify that he is R.J. Osterbaan and is the copyright owner of this content, especially with material like this having evidently produced by commission of the United Nations, which does retain copyright to its publications. Are you in any way connected to Osterbaan so that we have a chance of progress with this? --Moonriddengirl (talk) 01:38, 1 January 2014 (UTC)
- It may be that formal publications of UN organizations like FAO are copyright protected. However, commissioned project reports are for public use and scrutiny. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 189.215.154.223 (talk) 22:30, 5 January 2014 (UTC)
