Hello Sophisticatedevening,
Thank you for your message. I have rewritten the article completely in my own words to address the copyright issue.
I have also adjusted my citations to ensure accuracy. The article now uses five sources that are all relevant to the Igbo topic, including Amadiume (1987), which is the foundational academic work on Igbo female husbands.
Could you please review the revised version and let me know if any further changes are needed?
Thank you for your help and for maintaining Wikipedia's standards.

Hi

I noticed you are creating a lot of Nigerian LGBT+ articles. If you are a Nigerian, you can also join our write for rights contest to win a prize: https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Write_for_the_Rights_Nigeria_2026/Participants Obinna Tony (talk) 11:00, 4 June 2026 (UTC)[reply]

THANK YOU FOR THE OFFER AND I WOULD LOVE TO PARTCIPATE ! YosefKT (talk) 11:38, 4 June 2026 (UTC)[reply]
No problems. That’s if you are a Nigerian because we won’t be able to get prize across if you are a non Nigerian. Obinna Tony (talk) 11:40, 4 June 2026 (UTC)[reply]
I AM NOT NIGERIAN ... WOULD THERE BE ANOTHER WAY TO COLLECT IF I WIN THE PRIZE MAY BE ? YosefKT (talk) 11:42, 4 June 2026 (UTC)[reply]
Oh. I thought you were a Nigerian because you have been creating a lot of Nigerian LGBT+ articles. It's fine. The contest is only for Nigerians and there is no other means. Obinna Tony (talk) 11:48, 4 June 2026 (UTC)[reply]
thank you for the offer , i will still post many articles about Nigerians though! YosefKT (talk) 12:12, 4 June 2026 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you. Obinna Tony (talk) 12:14, 4 June 2026 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Matthew Blaise requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion discussion, at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Matthew Blaise. When a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after a discussion, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here.

The previous deletion of Matthew Blaise occurred because the article relied on unreliable sources (Bloomberg, TIME links that did not work). This version has been completely rewritten with new, verifiable, reliable sources:
- BRICKS Magazine (independent publication)
- One Young World (official profile)
- We Are Family Foundation (official selection)
- Mail & Guardian (major South African newspaper)
- TIME Magazine (working link)
- Oxford University (TORCH) (official event page)
The article now meets Wikipedia's notability guidelines (WP:GNG) with significant coverage in multiple independent, reliable sources. This is not a repost of the deleted version. It is a new article with substantially improved sourcing.
Please reconsider the G4 speedy deletion. YosefKT (talk) 17:25, 4 June 2026 (UTC)[reply]
