Editing one's own comments
Per WP:REDACT, "It is best to avoid changing your own comments [on talk pages]." Thus rather than entirely removing one's comments consider using deletion in the format <del>like this</del>, which appears thus:like this or a 'placeholder' such as "[Comment removed by author.]". You may find more info at WP:REDACT and feel free to ask me any questions. Thanks. [The page I specifically noticed was Talk:Tritone substitution#German 6th.
