PEOPLE WHO TEMPLATE WILL HAVE THEIR EDITS INSTANTLY REVERTED, AND A RETALIATORY MESSAGE WILL BE PUT ON THEIR TALK PAGE.

It is a level of insanity to allow people to be butchered, babies to be killed, hospitals to be bombed, and schools to be destroyed. This is the height of barbarism in this world.

What are you doing? It's a "typical" store front. Don't change the location because you think it's from a particular place [1]. The person who originally uploaded the image did not say where it was taken, and none of the supposed locations that have been attributed to this image should ever have been added. I suggest that you read WP:OR. Meters (talk) 05:57, 10 May 2026 (UTC)[reply]

I am already familiar with WP:OR. See https://wikimapia.org/154620/Lowe-s#/photo/2125433. that image, without doubt, perfectly matches the images shown there. NeoSyria\Freedoxm (talk · contribs) 06:01, 10 May 2026 (UTC)[reply]
Well, if you are familiar with WP:OR then why are you making changes based on that you claim to recognize the store, or that the doors look similar to you? How is that not OR? As for the Wikimapia image, that's a user-generated site and is not considered to be a reliable source. And it's just your opinion that it must be the same store, and that's OR. We've had multiple supposed locations for the photo, and none of the locations I saw were sourced. Likely every editor who has changed the location thought that they knew the correct location. The original uploader did not say where the photo was taken, and it does not matter. It is a "typical" storefront. Many of them look similar. Meters (talk) 06:29, 10 May 2026 (UTC)[reply]
And it's just your opinion As yours is too. If you're unsure if it's not from Sunnyvale, then I suggest that the image should be removed in its entirety due to inconsistency with other captions, you should stop taking this personally, WP:DROPTHESTICK, stop aggressively assuming, and leave this talk page discussion alone. You never know if this is the only location that has that entire style in the front of the warehouse. End of conversation. NeoSyria\Freedoxm (talk · contribs) 17:54, 10 May 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Photos from Syria

Hi

We need photos about Historical events like 8 December Damascus's liberation, or its celebrations in 2024 and 2025. Also, we need photos about new institutions, new police, new army.

We should ask Syrians to upload their files. Also, we need photos from Commons::Category:Houses in Damascus. Panam2014 (talk) 15:48, 15 May 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Will do; especially when I have more time. NeoSyria\Freedoxm (talk · contribs) 04:32, 17 May 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Picture re-adding for Al-Shaara

Redacted Rewards for Justice poster for Muhammad al-Jawlani, with the photographic portrait removed due to copyright concerns.
Hello @Freedoxm or now neoSyria. First, I want to commend your outstanding work on Wikipedia, particularly on Syria-related articles. You have worked with impressive diligence since we last talked. I am very surprised. You are no longer a new user, but an equal. I'll give a hats off to you.🎩🥂 Second, do you remember the early days when the al-Sharaa poster was removed because of copyright concerns? See: Commons deletion request for Muhammad al-Jawlani.png. I have since re-uploaded a redacted version, following a similar example used at El Mencho's manhunt poster, where the copyrighted portrait was removed while the government-produced wanted-poster text was retained. It is constrictive, yes, but it is a way to address the earlier copyright issue. Of course, if the new upload is still challenged, that is fine. I was to add it in myself, but I would gladly ask you the honours in re-adding the poster to its original form in the article, since the section really looks quite blank. :-) Cheers! ‒ Kaliper¹t. 12:18, 27 May 2026 (UTC)[reply]
I'll add it, thanks. I would also like to say thank you for commending my work on Wikipedia. NeoSyria\Freedoxm (talk · contribs) 08:14, 28 May 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Idlib Pocket

Hi

We should have a separate page for Idlib Pocket as a de facto territory of Syria. Separated from Idlib Governorate and Syrian Salvation Government. The page should be about history, life, economics while SSG is about cabinet. Panam2014 (talk) 14:22, 31 May 2026 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Mark Zoinkerberg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section R3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a recently created redirect from an implausible typo or misnomer, or other unlikely search term.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.
