We need photos about Historical events like 8 December Damascus's liberation, or its celebrations in 2024 and 2025. Also, we need photos about new institutions, new police, new army.

Hello @Freedoxm or now neoSyria. First, I want to commend your outstanding work on Wikipedia, particularly on Syria-related articles. You have worked with impressive diligence since we last talked. I am very surprised. You are no longer a new user, but an equal. I'll give a hats off to you.🎩🥂 Second, do you remember the early days when the al-Sharaa poster was removed because of copyright concerns? See: Commons deletion request for Muhammad al-Jawlani.png. I have since re-uploaded a redacted version, following a similar example used at El Mencho's manhunt poster, where the copyrighted portrait was removed while the government-produced wanted-poster text was retained. It is constrictive, yes, but it is a way to address the earlier copyright issue. Of course, if the new upload is still challenged, that is fine.
