Jennifer's Body

Jennifer's Body is a comedy-horror movie released in 2009 featuring actresses Megan Fox and Amanda Seyfried. The film tells the story of a high school cheerleader named Jennifer Check who is sacrificed to Satan and starts killing and devouring the boys in the small town of Devil's Kettle.[1] The themes of the movie link female sexuality with demonic behaviours, classifying Jennifer Check as a character illustrating femme fatale characteristics. Although this movie was a failure at the time of release in 2009, it has become increasingly popular in the last few years and is now praised as a smart, feminist horror-film.[2]
