Southerland Nights is a hard rock band that was formed in San Francisco, California, in September 2011. This group contains Adam Elara (vocalist), Ricky Sever (guitarist), Andy Nova (bassist), and Jon Dierkes (drummer).

History

The group started with Adam and Jon playing together, Jon liked metal and Adam liked pop and alternative. Tyler Strand started playing with them and then joined the band. Andy joined the band after Adam asked him to. "Andy is the best bassist I know," Adam says. After a few of their first shows, Ricky joined the band saying he was tired of playing in metal bands and wanted something different. Soon after Ricky joined the band Tyler started missing practices and then missed interviews and when the band starts filming a music video Tyler quits the band. The bands first demos were recorded and produced by Adam in different houses and garages. Southerland Nights started playing at small venues and then even small bars.
