Hello,

I am a slightly more than casual aficionado of history and pop culture, generally focussing on military history, as well as that of civilizations of the ancient world. It's the big picture that interests me, the movements of great cultures, the shifting of power. As far pop culture goes, it seems like fame is in direct proportion to the amount of camera time you can glom onto.

I also like accuracy and completeness. If you have a beef against an historical figure, by all means voice it, but let's try to provide a complete picture. Even the most inept general, president, prime minister, king or tsar probably did something right, and even if not, history tends to even things out.
