Greyden Press, LLC, is a book printing company headquartered in Dayton, Ohio. Greyden Press prints and publishes books and digital products including e-books, DVDs, and CDs. The company specializes in the scientific, educational, inspirational, and self-publishing markets.

In 2010, Greyden Press added marketing services to its self-publishing offering providing authors one-on-one publishing assistance with a publishing advisor through the entire printing, publishing, and distribution process.

History

Greyden Press, LLC, is the result of two independent book companies that combined their expertise to form one company.

In 1967, a company was formed in Dayton, Ohio, with the focus of printing Multiple Listing Service (MLS) books for the Real Estate industry. Operating under several different names through the years, this company, now Promatch Solutions, LLC, is the longest established Multiple Listing Service provider in the United States offering HTML5-based Real Estate software to Realtor Boards across the country. As the Real Estate industry transitioned from printed books to computers and ultimately moved online, Promatch Solutions became tech savvy remaining in the MLS business, while it sought new book print markets and applied its growing technical knowledge to the process of printing books.

Meanwhile, in the early 1990s, a new book printing company was forming in Columbus, Ohio, called JK Digital Publishing^[1][2] aka Greyden Press. Greyden Press specialized in digital short-run books--both hard case and perfect bound--and ultimately built its business around Scientific, Technical, and Educational publishing companies. Greyden Press served and grew in these market segments applying an increasing arsenal of custom-built prepress software to solve the challenges of technical publications, which allowed their customers to accomplish more at a lower cost for book publication and digital repurposing of published content.

In 2009, Promatch Solutions acquired Greyden Press^[3], combining their book production facilities in Dayton, Ohio, under the name Greyden Press, LLC^[4][5] . Today, Greyden Press specializes in short- to medium-print book runs manufactured on-site. The company provides full prepress and book production services, content repurposing for digital media such as CDs, DVDs, and Web pages and e-book conversion, plus ISBNs, bar codes, design, composition, file format conversion, author marketing toolkits and fulfillment services.
