Luke McEnallay was a young chef working his way to the top when he met a talented aspiring young singer, Ashley Simpson. They shared a relationship for many years and Luke eventually proposed. They were due to marry in September 2004. During the relationship it is said that the Simpson family did not approve of Luke, and constantly tried to talk Ashley out of marrying him, to which she refused. And to make sure word didnt go out that Ashley was marrying a so called "average joe" type person they made her keep completely quiet to the media. After many attempts to talk Ashley out of marrying Luke, the Simpsons were angered and fed up, it was drawing close to the wedding and it was still on. One night luke was inavited to meet the family and spend a night getting to know Ashley's father one on one. The next day Luke showed up to meet Ashley for lunch but something happened, within 3 days the wedding was called off, only 2 weeks befor it, and Ashley left Luke forever.
It is said that when Luke went to meet Ashleys father, the Simpsons murdered him, hid his body somewhere, and replaced him with a lookalike actor, who was paid to make sure she didnt marry him. It had worked and the family has never commented or alluded to it at any time. People who were close to Luke say that he never returned after that night, and that the Simpson family continually stated their dislike for him.
