Bernice Knox Wiley Middle School
Wiley Middle School was established in 2006 by the Leander Independent School District, in Leander, Texas.

Wiley was built to relieve the area as it was actively growing due to Block House Creek, South/Northridge Wood, and Horizon Park. It is named after Bernice Knox Wiley to honor her commitment to public education, as well as a similar commitment by thousands of parent and community volunteers across Leander ISD. The school as of the 2025-2026 has 789 students and serves 6-8th grade.

Leadership
Darla Smith is the principle of Wiley. She has been with Wiley since the 2023-24 school year. Before working at Wiley she worked at Rouse High School as an Assistant Principle. There are three Assistant Principles at Wiley. These Include, Paloma Tsihlas for 6th Grade, Melissa Thrash for 7th grade, and Angela Haas for 8th Grade.
History
Bernice Knox Wiley Middle School was opened in 2006. The founding Principle was Sylvia Flandery. She left the School district in 2012. Then Leander High School's current principal Chris Simpson worked at Wiley from 2013-2017. The rest are undocumented.
