Gaudioso Palma Balansag, fondly called by friends as "Gaudy Bee" born March 7, 1957, is a media practitioner in Maramag, Bukidnon, Philippines. He owns a local FM station "Radyo Natin", which he franchised from Manila Broadcasting Company (MBC). He has his own daily program, "Gaudy Bee at Your Service", which he religiously anchors. Married to Marylyn Sagosa, Gaudy has six children. Aside from media, Gaudy has been active with local cooperatives. Concurrently, he sits as the president of the Maramag Multi-purpose Cooperative (MACCO) and an outgoing member of the First Bukidnon Electric Cooperative (FIBECO), a three termer. He filed his certificate of candidacy as a Sangguniang member last November 2009 in the first fully automated election in the Philippines. During the stint of President Cory Aquino, Gaudy, as a young Kabataang Barangay chairman, was catapulted to sit in the Sangguniang Bayan in the revolutionary government. In the succeeding election, he was elected number one kagawad, redeeming his name, after such a takeover by President Cory Aquino. His hobby is hog-raising, tinkering with new technologies to raise pigs. His new invention is the so-called "water dispenser" for watering in his piggery. Finally, Gaudy studied Civil Engineering at the Central Mindanao University, Musuan, Maramag, Bukidnon and has a degree in Bachelor of Arts in San Isidro College, Malaybalay City.
