Peter Alexander Trimble
Peter Alexander Trimble (mainly styled as Peter Trimble) is a fictional character from The Violet Hour universe, created by author Sophie R.A Duggan. He is a main protagonist and the love interest of Andrea Aarons. His birthday is 25th May. He is a carrier of the AV Virus (as well as having an AB positive blood type) and is the first victim of Shock-Trauma. He suffers from an anxiety disorder and later in book two, type 1 bipolar.
Peter is described as being 5'9 in height, pale and freckled with curly blond hair that covers his eyes in a choppy fringe. Peter has 'electric-blue' eyes which are abnormally coloured due to the Arrabellium Virus, that he along with Andrea Aarons and Finn Sinclair were infected with before they were 'born'. Peter is first mentioned/seen in chapter one of The Violet Hour as the boy Andrea bumped into, knocking her books to the ground, when she entered an empty classroom. His eyes are the first thing mentioned. In chapter two Andrea sees the same boy staring at her from across the field during arithmetic maths.
Peter is described as being charmingly kind, generous, calm and a reserved teenage boy. After his shock-trauma his personality changes drastically - he becomes unkind, cruel and a very unlikeable person. This is due to the brainwashing he suffered from Gecko Inc, who kidnapped him and his friends before Andrea could escape with him to Pandora. He is missing from the second half of The Violet Hour (book one) and makes his final appearance in book one trying to kill Andrea with a scalpel knife.
