Vikram believes that life would be dull without colours, shapes and forms. Since childhood, he has had a deep interest in shapes, lines and contours. As a kid, he was the one who sat on the last bench in school and drew pictures of his teachers on bits of paper. It was when he got caught once, and the teacher, instead of being angry, guffawed at the uncanny resemblance of the drawing and himself, that he realized that he was actually good at fine arts. Sketching came to him naturally and creativity was his forte.

It was only a matter of time until Vikram took computer graphics by storm and tried his hand at Photoshop, Gimp and Illustrator. He did a comprehensive research on colours and their effects on human psychology. He then went ahead and designed various open source wall papers that became popular instantly. He worked as a freelancer for various small-scale projects before he was asked to design the All-India M Tech Counselling Website. He then designed Hi-Cams, a website for an International Conference held at Bishop Heber College, the alma mater of Dr Abdul Kalam. After that there was no stopping him. From book covers to illustrations for books, Vikram has been there, done that. He freelanced for the popular portal for amateur writers, Serene Woods (www.serenewoods.com) for whom he has designed a catalogue, book covers and illustrations.
