I am not skilled with wiki editing so you will have to bear with me.

1. "This 'fallow doe' is a centaur-like woman, presumably possessing nymph-like qualities" from The Three Ravens Explicated. "Critical debates about the ballad have focused on the 'fallow doe' in the poem" from The Facts on File Companion to British Poetry before 1600, Sauer, 2008. Article as further reading for ballad, see pages 435-436 at this link

2. Article is referenced in The New Cambridge Bibliography of English Literature, Vol 1, 600 – 1600, ed. G Watson, 1974.

3. Article cited in 2010 Morgan’s RevengeA dissertation on Morgan’s attempts to destroy Arthur and the origin of this motif (Marianne Bul, S1530569, Dr. K. Olsen, Dr. K. Dekker, 25-08-2010)

4. As any review of the discussion pages of the wiki article shows, there are no fact-based refutations of the image--they all revolve around personal preference. If the objectors wish to publish a peer-reviewed article in a reputable journal/book a refutation they should do that.

Recent and past (see above dates) references/referrals to the article from which the image is derived demonstrate that the image reflects a recognized reading of the ballad, which is not to say everyone agrees with that interpretation. However, it is not my understanding that unanimity of interpretation is a prerequisite for inclusion.
