Early life and education

Eric D. Reicin was born on August 12, 1969, in Chicago, Illinois. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan and later obtained a Juris Doctor (JD) from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign College of Law.

Career

Reicin held various senior legal roles at Sallie Mae, a diversified financial services company, from 1999 to 2013, where he collaborated closely with the company's executive team and Board of Directors. From 2006, Reicin served a term as the President of ACC-NCR (formerly the Washington Metropolitan Area Corporate Counsel Association). He later joined MorganFranklin Consulting as Vice President, General Counsel, and Corporate Secretary from 2013 to 2019. In 2019, following a restructuring at the Council of Better Business Bureaus, Reicin was appointed President and CEO of BBB National Programs, a role he currently holds along with his position on the Board of Directors.

Leadership and Contributions

Under Reicin's leadership, BBB National Programs has managed numerous industry self-regulation programs and initiated the Center for Industry Self-Regulation. The organization is a membership association with over 100 National Partners, including notable companies such as Verizon, P&G, and Unilever.

Public Service and Advisory Roles

Eric D. Reicin has held pivotal roles in numerous professional organizations and educational institutions. He served on various committees within the American Bar Association and held a six-year term on the global board of the Association of Corporate Counsel. Additionally, he contributed as an advisory board member at the Georgetown University Law Center CCI and as an emeritus member of the Board of Directors of the American Employment Law Council (AELC). Reicin also actively participated in the Washington Hebrew Congregation (WCH), serving on its Board of Directors and as treasurer.
