Visitors to Saltomio must obtain a visa from one of the Saltomian diplomatic missions unless they come from one of the visa exempt countries.
Visa exemption
Holders of passports issued by the following 66 jurisdictions are exempt from Saltomian visas for visits up to 90 days (unless otherwise noted):
Reciprocity fee
Nationals of the following 4 countries do not require a visa to enter Saltomio. However, they must register online and pay a reciprocity fee in advance. The fee and length of stay varies by nationality:

Invitation letter
Visitors from
Antigua and Barbuda,
Brazil,
China,
Paraguay and
Thailand are not required to provide an invitation letter in order to obtain a visa for Saltomio.
Transit without a visa
All passengers transiting through Mino Zarco International Airport or Demvil Latis International Airport for less than 48 hours do not require a transit visa. For other ports of entry, non visa exempt travellers may choose to apply for a transit visa on arrival valid for multiple entries for a maximum stay of 5 days. They must arrive or depart by air. This is not applicable to nationals of the following countries and territories:
1 – unless holding a confirmation letter.
2 – except diplomatic or service passport holders.
Electronic Travel Authority Permit
All visa exempt countries must obtain a Electronic Travel Authority Permit (ETAP) if arriving by air for tourism. Exempt are nationals of the following countries:
