The Tom of Finland Foundation’s John Darcy Noble & Robert Clement Library aka " The Sultan's Salon" and it’s “Sister's Vault”

The Tom of Finland Foundation Library houses thousands of LGBT and erotic artists' books, zines and catalogs in addition to information on various related subjects ranging from fetish to the history of erotica. The library holds a substantial AV collection, thousands of periodicals and countless pieces of ephemera concerning both gay male culture and the artist Tom of Finland. The Tom of Finland Foundation Library serves patrons on an international level and strives to accommodate all interested parties, from curious locals to academic researchers. The goal is to make the specific information within the library better available to emerging LGBT artists, theorists and communities in order to bridge generational gaps and offer a historical context which can be both referenced and identified with.
