User:Tom Neverwinter
Hello! My primary interests include arcade games and the archival of details for titles like Quest of D and Derby Owners Club.
My background includes achieving the rank of Eagle Scout. My academic journey has included studies at technical and community colleges, supplemented by advanced online training in artificial intelligence and other technical fields.
On the creative side, I am an active participant in online maker communities, sharing projects and engaging with fellow enthusiasts on various platforms.
Current Projects
Here are the articles I am currently focused on improving:
Local History: Improving content and sources for articles related to local towns, including their history and notable places.
Regional Articles: Enhancing articles with updated information and new photographs.
Cosplay & 3D Printing: Expanding articles on fabrication techniques and the application of 3D printing in costume design.
Feel free to reach out if you have questions or need assistance with topics related to cosplay, 3D printing, or local history!
Radio & AI Projects
I am actively exploring the field of Software-Defined Radio (SDR). My focus includes tracking aircraft using ADS-B and decoding digital voice transmissions with DSD+. A key area of my experimentation involves integrating these technologies with artificial intelligence, particularly using speech-to-text models like Parrot AI to generate live, automated transcripts of radio communications.
Technical Focus Areas
airgradient air monitering
Software-Defined Radio (SDR): Exploring radio communications through digital signal processing.
Aircraft Tracking: Monitoring real-time flight data via ADS-B.
Vessel Tracking: Monitoring real-time data from aircraft (ADS-B) and maritime vessels (AIS).
Satellite Imagery: Receiving and decoding weather data and images from GOES and NOAA satellites.
Digital Voice Decoding: Analyzing and decoding digital radio protocols using DSD+.
AI & Automation: Applying speech-to-text models (such as Parrot AI) to automatically transcribe decoded audio streams. [works great with DSD+]
