Concussions in American football CDC: Concussions
The Adrian Dominican Foremothers were sent to New York from Germany in the late 19th century. They were four sisters (Mother Augustine Neuhierl, Mother Hyacinth Scheininger, Mother Angela Phelan, Mother Camilia Madden)and they opened Saint Joseph Hospital in 1884. The moved from Traverse City to Adrian in 1881, that was the beginning of the Dominican Adrian Sisters.
Concussions are gaining more attention due to the fact that a lot of players are getting them. The biggest issue is whether or not the helmet is helping get rid of them or just making things worse. Concussions happen at all levels of sport, not just for professionals. In this paper I will be explain what a concussion is and ways to recover from concussions. I will also tell the symptoms of concussions and talk about concussions in the different levels of football, including statistics. [2]
