    Subject bar. Horizontal. Blank

    {{subject bar}}

    All set to "y". portal = and spoken = removed. Since the search parameters are empty in the example below, the links use the article name, or in this case, the sandbox name. If search terms are entered, quotes can be placed around search terms to require search results to include the complete phrase.

    {{subject bar|commons = y|commons-search = |species = y|species-search = |voy = y|voy-search = |n = y|n-search = |wikt = y|wikt-search = |b = y|b-search = |q = y|q-search = |s = y|s-search = |v = y|v-search = |d = y|d-search = }}

    Parameter meanings

    Alphabetical order: b: Wikibooks. commons: WikiMedia Commons. d: Wikidata. n: Wikinews. q: Wikiquote. s: Wikisource. species: Wikispecies. v: Wikiversity. voy: Wikivoyage. wikt: Wiktionary.

    Subject bar. Horizontal. COVID-19

    COVID-19 - The portal bar is a better location for portal links. This is because portals are internal links, and so they need to be placed in the "See also" section. Sister links in the horizontal format are placed in the location recommended by the template documentation: Template:Subject bar. "after the references, external links, navboxes, authority control template, and before any categories." This is because sister links are external links.

    {{subject bar|commons = y|commons-search = Category:COVID-19|species = y|species-search = COVID-19|voy = y|voy-search = COVID-19|n = y|n-search = COVID-19|wikt = y|wikt-search = COVID-19|b = y|b-search = COVID-19|q = y|q-search = COVID-19|s = y|s-search = COVID-19|v = y|v-search = COVID-19|d = y|d-search = COVID-19}}

    Sister project links. Vertical

    Not recommended. Longer right-floating items like this one can interfere with other things, and cause wasted space, and unnecessary scrolling.
