Timi Adegbite
Timi Adegbite was born in London, England in 1970. He went to Nigeria when he was aged 4 and returned to the UK at 22. He studied Media and Cultural Studies at Middlesex University, London.
Career
Timi Adegbite started his film career as a cinematographer on his friend and colleague, Ayo Shonaiya's directorial debut "More Blessing" in 1996. That was followed up with the highly successful "King Of My Country". In 2000, they released their third feature film together "Spin". Soon after, Timi Adegbite and Ayo Shonaiya under the R70 banner, joined Alistair Soyode's BEN TV in the UK. They produced many shows for the African channel. Amongst the shows produced for BEN TV included "Intro with DJ Abass", showcasing Nigerian and African music videos to Africans in Europe, and creating spin-offs like the annual concert series the Big Nigerian Independence Intro Jam and the Intro Hollywood Special, "Black Variety Show" (Hosted by Ronke Apampa), "Pots and Pans" (Hosted by Eric Nwadinobi), Out & About and Soul Sista with Dakore Egbuson.

During this period, he directed a video for Nigerian Juju Artiste Segun Blessing. He was also a co-producer on D'Banj's Tongolo Remix directed by DJ Tee.
They left BEN TV to join OBE TV in 2006. They brought their two biggest shows "Intro" and "Black Variety Show" to OBE TV. They left OBE TV after 2 years and started producing for the Nigerian satellite platform HiTV. They produced a show interviewing Nigerians in entertainment and sports. The show titled "United States Of Nigeria" was presented by Seun Maduka and was shot entirely in the US.

In 2014, he edited a feature film titled "Scarred" for Moss Pictures. He also did some editing work for Black Movies Channel, an online streaming channel. Timi Adegbite is currently working on a documentary series for Netflix titled "Afrobeats: The Backstory" (Produced and Directed by Ayo Shonaiya).
