Tim Goodwin the Wikipedian was born 16th November 1968. I now (2003) live in Leicester in the United Kingdom.

By profession, I am a computer scientist, currently working as a web developer for the AstroGrid project at the University of Leicester. I have been using and administering Unix systems for 15 years.

In my so-called spare time, I run a bookstall specializing in neopaganism, shamanism, Eastern paths (buddhism, taoism, zen, etc.), earth mysteries, permaculture, and similar topics.

I'm almost none of the other Tim Goodwins that you might find on the Internet: I have never presented QVC, nor been involved in field archery; nor did I write Seeds of Destruction or any books on Dorset (at least, not that I remember).
