The Crushroom is an aspiring metal band that comes from Calgary, Alberta. Consisting of Edison Grove, Derek Beaven, Sean McGowan and Kevin Fallwell. The Crushroom has been part of a CBC radio contest where the made it to the top ten, they were then disqualified because the song was too long.
The guitar player that played guitar for the CBC radio contest quit, and new guitar player Derek Beaven was hired. Now they have demos out on myspace and an album is scheduled for a release in january 2011. Tenetively titled "Master and Man" [after the first demo], their debut album will contain two demos, 7-9 original songs and possibly 2 covers.
