Craig Melrose is an American engineer and businessperson. He is the Executive Vice President (EVP) of Digital Transformation Solutions at PTC (software company) (formerly Parametric Technology), which he joined in June of 2019.[1]
Education
Melrose attended the University of Kentucky, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering in 1995.[2]
Career
At PTC, Melrose's responsibilities include building customer-facing, operationally transformative solutions that incorporate PTC's technologies, Computer-Aided Design (CAD), Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), Industrial Internet of Things (IoT), and Augmented Reality (AR.). In this role, he interacts with and guides customers to roll out tailored Industry 4.0 programs developed at scale, based on their unique operational excellence goals. [3]
Before joining PTC, Melrose worked at McKinsey & Company as an operations expert, principal, and a partner. [1] [2] [4]
Melrose was a Vehicle Production Engineer at Shellbody, Toyota Motor Corp, before joining McKinsey & Company.[2]
