My name is Steve. I am a Maker. I make things from whatever I can find or think of ways to reuse, repurpose and recycle - I avoid buying things to make with if I can. I enjoy wood, metal and plastic. I film it all for YouTube too! I don't do it for money, I do it all just for fun and to keep myself occupied. It all takes place in my small 8'x5' brick built garden shed which I lovingly call my workshop. I wanted my own space for many years but it wasn't until the summer of 2017 that I actually made it happen. My workshop was full of old rubbish, garden tools, garden toys the kids had lost interest in and other bits of junk. I got up early one morning and started to drag it all out. It took pretty much the full day but eventually I got it completely emptied. I suddenly found myself with no more than 40 square feet of workshop space and it was then that I started to plan it out. You would think that with very little space it would be easy to plan, trust me, this is not the case. It actually took a lot of planning as I had so much I wanted to eventually fit in - I had to plan the space very carefully and use it very wisely.
