Ted Dogwater: February 4, 1924 - Present
Theodore Cletus Dogwater III was born Monday, February 4, 1924 in the small town of Klamath Falls, Oregon. Son of Buford T. and Ruth W. Dogwater of Eugene Oregon. From the age of 6 he showed great ambition in the wilderness and on occasion disappeared for days at a time to live with the wolves. At the age of 16 he married Ginger Elloise Caravatsos despite the disapproval of their parents. Eager to make an honest living for his family Ted began working as a timber producer and eventually began his own company. His oldest son, Rusty T. Dogwater took up the family business and helped as his right hand man. Nobody really knows where Rusty got his looks or temperament from he was nothing like his father. In the summer of 2002 the Dogwater duo combined their funds and purchased a purple and yellow Alpine harvester. After 19 days of fabrication they produced one of the most effective and sought after watering units for fire fighting used today. If you come across Team Dogwater they are always more than happy to tell you the story of how they got started and ended up where they are today.
