This is a page about CyberSCAP a great group of guys...
CyberSCAP was formed on October 16, 2005. It started as a group of 4 guys located outside of Indianapolis, Indiana in the fall of 2004. As a group, the 4 guys commonly called Spudster, Jimrad, Bomberman, and ZetKiller began to connect their computers to a LAN (Local Area Network) switch and play multiplayer games together. Originally, the 4 began to play each other in 2 vs. 2 games in Medal of Honor Allied Assault Breakthrough. Then as parties continued on a regular basis, they began to install and play new games. With multiplayer gaming came strategies, which if the other team discovered was usually fatal. So, as a tool to end this problem, CyberSCAP (at that time, unnamed) started to use a VOIP (Voice Over Internet Protocol) program called Teamspeak. This worked with the microphones that each of the members owned. As locations switched from place to place, new games kept arriving. After a few months, Battlefield 1942, Battlefield Vietnam, Age of Empires 2, Star Wars Jedi Outcast, and many other games started to be played by CyberSCAP. Internal lanning began to get old, so with Spudster's Cable Modem, the "core four", as they were called at that time, first accessed the world of Online Multiplayer Gaming together. When Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow debuted, Spudster had been exposed to Internet Gaming, but never had the group ever played online together. This continued for a long while, but 4 people could only last so long so small. Then, as Jimrad and Spudster discovered the sequel to the Battlefield franchise, Battlefield 2, another player became interested. Before long, Fresch Meat became part of the group, bringing life and spunk to the deprived bunch. As a bonus, it was another internet connection. As the group continued to play games together, Fresch Meat needed a new computer because some of the games were too demanding for his original machine. As the games got better, everyone in the group began to upgrade their computers. As time went on, some upgraded their computers, and others just got brand new ones, built by the members themselves or course. Teamspeak was eventually traded with Ventrilo, a better VOIP program. On June 23, 2005 Battlefield 2 debuted in stores nationwide. That night, the 5 members all hopped over to the local Best Buy and bought themselves a copy of the DVD version. They formed squads in-game and played online for the first time in an all out wage-war-across-the-battlefield mindset. This spurred on the group to play more and more together. Lan Parties became a regular occasion. As the summer went on, one of Spudster's friends, The Mob Returns, wanted to play some FPS's (First Person Shooters). So he decided to build his own computer and join the group, thus adding another internet connection. The Name "CyberSCAP" originated shortly thereafter. SCAP, meaning "Slow, Children at Play", created by Fresch Meat, and the Cyber having to do with the technology aspect of the group. Recently, CyberSCAP has been creating movies for leisure and presentation.
A resent message from ZetKiller: "I will agree with Spudster that our last LAN party was another huge success! Any time a person locks them selves in a basement full of computers, looses all track of time, and never sees the sun for whole day is just awesome! I highly recommend LAN parties it’s so cool to come into a LAN room and see six computers all glowing with awesome colors. People who see us playing are amazed they usually just stand and watch in awe. Some friends on the weekend go to movies, restaurants, and the mall but, me and my friends all connect together and fly planes, drive tanks, make head shots, parachute form a helicopter, and never leave our chip bowl."
