Does the freedom of GFDL mean the freedom to delete?

Greetings

Greetings, fellow Wikipedians. My name is Johan, and I was born in the Faroes some 50 years ago. Over the years, I have been living and working in Denmark, Germany, Switzerland and Spain.

I started as a Wikipedia editor in april 2009, but I have been a user for several years. Wikipedia is an information-age project I absolutely adore, second only to Linux and its predecessors. Freedom, equality and responsibility are core values of mine. I hope to contribute on the basis of who I am, what I know and how I care. I have remained an "ordained" buddhist since my youth, which does not in any sense contradict my full adherence to contemporary scientific principles.

My personal interests include:

  • History, especially european in the 19-20th century and WWII
  • Photography, mainly nature, candid and street
  • Computer science and engineering
  • Astronomy and Astrophysics
  • Philosophy and Logic
  • Psychology, Management and group dynamics
  • 3D animation

Momentarily, my main intent is to contribute in these areas:

I think it would be fair to describe me as a WP:SPA. As such, some may want to see this User:Sportsmand/ADHDdeclaration.
