Simon Pengelly was born in Woodford, Essex in 1948.

When aged one, his family emigrated to Australia - and took him with them!

After five years they all moved back and eventually settled in Tonbridge, Kent.

In 1999, Simon moved to Margate in the Isle of Thanet, East Kent, UK

He now lives in Arlington House, Margate - a sixties tower-block near Margate Railway Station.
