Shane Connor Folger is an Irish/Dutch/American who was once, proudly; a professional closed fist MMA fighter on the rise, with United Mixed Martial Arts in La Mirada, CA

He was involved in a motorcycle accident 08/23/2007; where a 15 & 1/2 y/o girl; taking an illegal shortcut to the Brea mall, who cut perpendicular to the oncoming/eastbound Bastanchury traffic in a 50mph zone; across three full lanes, just past the intersection of Brea Blvd. and Bastanchury in Fullerton, CA). She was pulling out of her housing complex from "Threewoods Lane" just past Brea Blvd. attempting to complete an illegal shortcut to the Brea Mall, across 3 lanes of the oncoming traffic of Bastanchury, just past Brea Blvd. She slammed on her brakes, and came to rest; blocking the number 1 and 2 lanes. Shane then slammed into the driver's side door of the Cadillac Escalade the girl was driving, off the 05 Suzuki GSXR motorcycle he was on, and through her drivers' side window! Unfortunately; he impacted the girl's head and broke her nose. Shane however, was not as fortunate and slipped into a naturally occurring comatose, that lasted a month. He was then rushed to the Intensive Care Unit of the UCI Hospital where he was treated in their Intensive Care Unit for a full month, before his release to the Brain Injury Rehabilitation Facility "Care Meridian" where he learned to walk, talk, eat, and basically function all over again when he was 22 years old.
