Thabani Dladla[2] (born October 29, 1995), known professionally as Sean Zaya,[2] is a South African rapper, singer, and songwriter. Known for his eccentric vocal style and fashion, he first received attention for his (Looking for luv,Strings) which got him a deal with Boost records based in Atlanta,USA,and Hong Kong.[5] Sean Zaya initially released a series of independent singles and beginning in 2012 with Codec and Sponsor. In 2013 he dropped Politicians which caused him so many explanations to the citizens.[6] In 2014 he released his debut EP Zina consists of 5 tracks.[7]

Sean Zaya received mainstream recognition in 2017 with the singles "Global" and "Amapara" in addition to appearances on several singles, including Lutenant Kgova's "Connect" That year, he released a mixtape: "Final Gawa". These were followed in 2018 by the Cotheoses,Legendary. [8] In 2019, he released an EP "Prison 49" showcasing the artists he that has signed to his own label Earsip music.[9]

Sean Zaya also became known for his song dedicated to Dj Tira on the 2018 hit song "Makoya bearings". The Ntunja2RapGod was crowned for his songwriting skills.
