Samuel Carleial is a Post Doc researcher at the University of Konstanz. Currently, he carries out research on trauma and mental health, particularly with focus on clinical trials investigating the effect of Narrative Exposure Therapy on mental health and epigenetics. He takes part in the research group of Thomas Elbert.

Previously, he studied Biology with a focus on Botany, Ecology and Mating System Evolution. He shifted his research interest to data and statistical analyses in Psychology since his PhD.
