Samuel Timothy Mark Pounds (born August 30, 1986) in Durham, North Carolina, United States), commonly known by his stage name Sam Harmonix, is an American producer, singer, and songwriter. He is the founder and current CEO of independent label SHIPP Records and Nova mcmsr LLC. Sam Harmonix's first full credit production work was in 2012 on ''The Game Changer'' for former Pop singer Drew Chambers. In the same year he went on to produce the debut album of Christian Pop artist Angie G titled "Love All Around". Harmonix is a prominent producer for all genres of music. He has released several mixtapes and is schedule to release his debut album the summer of 2013. His work ranges from Angie G, Drew Chambers, Curvine, Kim Walker, Mic Check 212 as well a host of other rising artist to DJ Shox, Emmaline and Gregory Cox.

His music is fresh, relevant, and a reflection of his love and passion for the art. He is a fulltime producer, singer, song writer, musician, and dancer with drive and perseverance. “I never intend to slow down anytime soon. I just hope everyone else can keep up.” He is laying a new foundation in the music industry breaking barriers with his innovative approach. Sam Harmonix is “The Sound” that is quickly taking the world by force. “My motivation is to dominate and leave an iconic lasting impression for years to come.” He became most popular for his 2012 cover of Diamonds with nearly 50,000 views. While music is a very important factor for him, Harmonix is never shy to mention his true foundation and love for God. “I can never forget where I’ve come from, and only because of Him am I able to do what I love.” His creative sound stretches from Experimental, Pop, R&B, Rock, Soul and Hip Hop all the way to his Gospel roots. Harmonix is hard working and although he juggles many hats he has no trouble keeping the balance. He has worked with the likes of Jamereo Artis of the Houligans (Bruno Mars), Cory Bold 1/3 of Fly Panda (Interscope), Angie G, producer Q Dot (who himself has worked with the likes of Akon, DMX, and Busta Rhymes) and Oscar G just to name a few, but the list continues. Harmonix is responsible for producing the viral single ''Invade The Earth'' by Christian Hip Hop artist Curvine feat. Kim Walker which has 90,000 views. He has graced many stages and collaborated with many artists. His tone is rich and transparent in emotion, with a signature sound in production.
