Hafiz Usman also known as Mohammad Usman was born on 26 june 1969 in Ambehta Sheikha village in Deoband,Saharanpur. He went to famous "Darul-Uloom UNIVERSITY" in deoband which is one of the ASIAS' biggest Islamic University from where he got his 'TIBBIYA' degree and for the first time in universities' history. Hafiz Usman became the first Elected President of Student Union of 'DARUL-ULOOM' in two consecutive elections where he won unopposed in second time. After it,from the year 1986-1992, he went to ALIGARH MUSLIM UNIVERSITY (A.M.U.) for persuing his further study and did B.U.M.S from there where in the year 1990 he stood in the elections of student union and became The President of Aligarh Muslim Universities' Student Union from 1990-1991. From there he shook hands with Netaji Mulaayam Singh ji who was chief minister of U.P. at that time. Hafiz Usman created a history as he was the first man to elect in an election of legislative assembly while remaining a student. He elected his first legislative assembly in the year 1991 from aligarh city representing Janta Party. After Elections,Netaji Shri Mulayam SINGH YADAV JI along with him and several other senior leaders constituted SAMAJWADI PARTY in the year 1992. As samajwadi party was made,Hafiz Usman was made the first NATIONAL PRESIDENT of SAMAJWADI YOUTH WING in 1992. From 1992 till JAN 2014,he served as a memer of rashtiya karyasamiti of Samajwadi Party, served as NATIONAL SECRETARY of samajwadi party and became member of haj commiittee for consecutive 15years and member of aligarh muslim university academic council and member of aligarh muslim universities' court member for two terms. He had also served as a CHAIRMAN of U.P. SUNNI CENTRAL WAQF BOARD for 5 years and has completed his tenure as "THE STATE INFORMATION COMMISSIONER" of Uttar Pradesh in 2019.
