Dr. Rowaid Ahmad Dr. Rowaid Ahmad is a Pakistani medical doctor, public health professional, and researcher from Saro Shah, Takht Bhai, Mardan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. He is the son of Engineer Ahmad Khan. Dr. Ahmad has extensive experience in clinical medicine, public health, disease surveillance, and medical research, with a focus on immunization, epidemiology, and perioperative care. Early Life and Education Rowaid Ahmad was born and raised in Peshawar, Pakistan. He completed his schooling at Frontier Children Academy and pursued his FSc from University College for Boys, University of Peshawar. He then earned his MBBS in 2024 from Rehman Medical College (RMC), Peshawar, where he developed a strong foundation in clinical medicine and research. He further enhanced his expertise by completing a Master of Public Health (MPH) at Khyber Medical University (KMU), Peshawar, with a focus on disease surveillance, immunization, and community health programs. Professional Experience Dr. Ahmad’s clinical experience includes his house job at Rehman Medical Institute (RMI) from August 2024 to July 2025, with rotations in Medicine & Allied, Surgery & Allied, ICU, and emergency care. His clinical skills include intubation, NG/foley tube placement, central and peripheral line placement, lumbar punctures, and suturing. Since 1st September 2025, he has been working as a Medical Officer at Rehman Medical Institute (RMI), providing patient care and assisting in surgical and medical procedures. In addition to his hospital work, Dr. Ahmad is currently serving as a Trainee Medical Officer (TMO) in Public Health at Khyber Medical University, Peshawar, where he is involved in disease surveillance, public health research, and community health initiatives. Research and Publications Dr. Ahmad has contributed to medical research with a publication on enhanced recovery after surgery in colorectal cancer patients, published in MedEye. His research interests include perioperative care, public health, epidemiology, and biochemistry. He continues to pursue studies that improve patient outcomes and health system efficiency.
