Indianapolis 8 Hours

The Indianapolis 8 Hours is a 8 hour motorsport endurance race, which takes place at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway and is the fourth round of the Intercontinental GT Challenge [1]and the last round of the GT World Challenge America.[2]

History

On July 26, 2019, Intercontinental GT Challenge announced its 2020 schedule, which included a new race at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.[1] The Speedway had hosted endurance races before, most notably WeatherTech SportsCar Championship support races as part of the Super Weekend.
