http://www.padsgi.ph The birth of the Philippine Anti- Drug Support Group Inc.(PADSGI) came after the 2006 International Narcotics Control Report of the Department of State U.S.A. that tagged the Philippines as a drug smuggler’s paradise. It cited the country as a narcotics source and transshipment area where illegal drugs enter the country through seaports, airports and economic zones.

With these alarming data on dangerous drugs, PADSGI was registered in the Securities and Exchange Commission with SEC. No. CN200605430 on April 5, 2006 and DSWD, as a Non-Government Organization of concerned citizen and volunteers. Its main objective is the prevention of drug abuse and crimes through seminars on drug awareness.

Integrated part of PADSGI mission is the referral of drug dependents to Drug Rehabilitation Center, information drive through publication of PADSGI Magazine and distribution of Drug Abuse Leaflets, Medical Dental Mission in depressed areas, sponsor of rehabilitated drug dependents, scholarship and gift giving to street children.

PADSGI celebrated its 1st Founding Anniversary on May 30, 2007 at the Aberdeen Court in Grreat Eastern Hotel, Makati City with ASEC Rodolfo N. Caisip, Deputy Director General for Operation of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) as the Guest of Honor and Speaker.

In this affair, Resource Speakers and Special Guest are Atty Gilbert C. San Diego, Public Servant of NAPOLCOM with Atty Adelaida Francisco San Diego, Atty Jose Floro Crisologo of Crisologo Evangelista Associates and Red Belt Master Trovador Ramos Sr, Founder of TRACMA International Task Force,the man who defeated Bruce Lee in actual Martial Arts combat.

More than a hundred guests and sponsors attended the affair at Aberdeen Court. Plaque of Recognition were awarded to the Guest of Honor, Resource Speakers and Special Guests. Certificate of Appreciation were distributed to all sponsors of PADSGI Anniversary and special projects.

The group has an agreement with the Quezon City Anti-Drug Advisory Council for drugs dependents to be assisted for medical treatment in rehabilitation centers. In coordination with the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), PADSGI will help minors who are users of harmful drugs.

More than a year had passed the officers of the organization has demonstrated exemplary leadership in the accomplishment of the above-mentioned program of activities.The group acknowledged the kindness and support who shared their blessing with PADSGI to serve humanity and the interest of the nation.
